It took Michelle Agyemang just 41 seconds to announce her arrival in the England women's senior team, when she came on as a substitute and scored a stunning debut goal in the Lionesses' 3-2 defeat against Belgium in Leuven.
Agyemang had been called up to Sarina Wiegman's squad for the first time just two days earlier, replacing the injured Alessia Russo ahead of the Lionesses' UEFA Women's Nations League clash against Belgium after helping the WU19s qualify for the EURO finals in Poland earlier in the week.
The striker had been a regular goalscorer for the Young Lionesses in the years prior, having first been called up to represent her country at WU16 level. She scored an impressive ten goals in 12 appearances for the WU17s before making the step up to the WU19s.
In October 2024, she opened her account for the WU23s, bagging a late winner in a 1-0 victory over Portugal in Shrewsbury.
The lifelong Arsenal fan joined the Gunners at the age of six, making her debut in November 2022 at the age of 16 in a 4-0 win over Leicester City in the BWSL.
She joined up with Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan for the 2024-25 campaign, having previously spent time with Watford on dual registration terms.
