England women's deaf team shared an exciting 2-2 draw with Spain this weekend, as they continue their preparations for this year's World Deaf Futsal Championship.

The Para Lionessses will be heading to Italy for the tournament this June, and made the journey to Spain for this game in Quintanar de la Orden over the weekend.

A brace from Faye Williams sealed a deserved result for England, with her first goal coming after robbing a defender of the ball before sliding a low shot into the bottom corner.

After the break, Williams got her second after receiving the ball on the left flank before side-stepping a defender and producing a superb finish with the outside of her right foot to put England 2-1 up.

But the hosts came back and levelled things up with an angled shot from long-range.

The Women's Deaf Futsal Championship will be staged in Italy this summer, and is currently scheduled between 14-28 June 2025.
