Having represented England at youth level, from under-16s through to the under-23s, Maisie Symonds received her first call up to the senior side in March 2025 as Sarina Wiegman named the midfielder in her squad for the Lionesses' double header against Belgium in the UEFA Women's Nations League.
Her first international goal came against Bosnia and Herzegovina for the under-17s in a 4-0 victory back in October 2019 in the qualifying round for for the 2020 U17 Women's EUROs.
And the youngster, who has captained the under-19s on a handful of occasions, made her debut for the WU23s against Spain in December 2023.
At club level, she had made over 50 appearances for Brighton and Hove Albion, making her WSL debut for the Seagulls in May 2021 against Bristol City and going on to establish herself as a regular starter.
