England fans were back on the pitch again on Monday ahead of the EURO 2024 game with Slovenia in Cologne.

Members of the England Supporters Travel Club took on their Slovenian counterparts in an eight-v-eight on the grass pitch at the Cologne ‘Football Experience’ in UEFA’s fan zone in the city.

Following on from last week's game against Danish fans in Frankfurt, they came up against a well-organised Slovenian outfit, who even had their own head coach.

Former England goalkeeper Ben Foster was there to lend a hand, playing outfield for the first 15 minutes as the Three Lions took the lead.

Unfortunately though, the Slovenians hit back and ran out as 6-1 winners after taking advantage of some tired legs in the second half with flurry of goals despite the support of around 40 England fans backing their team.

The team will be looking to host another fans’ match at the next venue ahead of England’s round of 16 fixture.
