Girls’ ETC National Conference takes place at St George's Park
Girls' Emerging Talent Centres
St George's Park played host to over 100 colleagues representing the national network of Girls’ Emerging Talent Centres.
The two-day event earlier this month was packed with workshops and practical sessions centred around supporting ETCs with games programme planning, goalkeeping, physical development, diversifying the coaching workforce and marketing and communications.

Sharing knowledge across the network was also a key focus. ETC best practice, player demographics and audit reflections were all included as part of the share.
Women’s Technical Director, Kay Cossington, kicked-off proceedings before leading into some fantastic collaborations over the two days between colleagues in women’s technical, coach education and development as well as colleagues from the ETCs' Funding partner, The Premier League.

“From the FA's perspective, we're absolutely delighted with the turnout and level of engagement from our colleagues across the ETC network," said Sharon Brownlie, women's club pathway manager.
"This year's conference was bigger and better following our inaugural conference last year. Our sessions and workshops included some fantastic cross collaboration between colleagues across teams at the FA but also via our partners at the Premier League and the Professional Game Academy Audit Company.
"We hope that those attending enjoyed the opportunity to network and take home some increased knowledge and practical ideas to implement back in their programmes.”
