Report: England WU19 3-0 Switzerland
England WU19s recorded a 3-0 win over Switzerland in the La Nucia International Tournament in Spain.
It was the second game of the month for Emma Coates’ side after a narrow 2-1 loss to Germany on Thursday.
England took the lead midway through the first half against Switzerland when Emily Brough scored with an excellent half-volley.
The advantage was then doubled inside the final 20 minutes in Alicante when Lucia Kendall had a penalty saved but scored with the rebound.
Coates made a host of substitutes in the second half and two of them combined for the game’s final goal on 83 minutes.

Bristol City’s Elysia Boddy dribbled well before crossing for Ipswich Town’s Sarah Brasero to score with a first-time finish.
England will return to Spain for EURO qualification round two in April when they will take on the hosts, Slovenia and Belarus for a place at the finals in Belgium this July.
